Yubal Márquez Fleites

Biography

Yubal is a multidisciplinary artist, curator, photographer, and cultural patron whose practice moves fluidly between contemporary art, curation, and philanthropy. His work and curatorial projects have been presented through notable art fairs, galleries, institutional collaborations, and private exhibitions throughout the United States and the Caribbean. Working across painting, photography, and poetic narrative, Yubal’s practice explores the psychological and emotional dimensions of the human condition. His work reflects an ongoing meditation on identity, transformation, and the subtle tensions between personal experience and collective reality. Balancing introspection with social observation, his compositions invite quiet contemplation while examining the evolving complexities of contemporary life. In parallel with his artistic practice, Yubal has cultivated a strong presence within the cultural and philanthropic communities of the Hamptons and New York. He has collaborated with and supported numerous nonprofit and arts organizations, including Southampton Arts Center, East End Arts, The Ellen Hermanson Foundation, Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center, Canine Companions, and The Maestro Cares Foundation, among others. His involvement has included curatorial direction, host committee participation, and support of fundraising exhibitions and charitable initiatives.
